Thank you Bruce and team for another amazing Mission Event. Truly challenging and inspiring. I’m asking myself questions and it has prompted prayer and answer from God each Session. God has been so very good in my life. In prayer he prompted me to a career change in 2000, as a Paramedic, and yet because I had epilepsy when 10 years old I could not have joined. I applied one year and was not successful, but the next year I got through to the medical test, and the law was changed that very year which enabled someone like me to join and become a Paramedic. I was a Paramedic for 15 years. God clearly enabled this. He is faithful.
Fast forward 15 years. I experienced burnout, and in much confusion I sought God in prayer to seek His will for my next step. After some 6 months, Our Lord gave me two words – Study and Pastoral. I took the step, and applied to study Theology. Most of my study was paid for as retraining. I prayed for guidance before selecting each unit. And I was guided by God who overcame many obstacles to a new career in Pastoral Care. It was certainly a trial beginning and during the Study, but each step brought greater clarity. All I had to do was to take the next step. God never let me down. Praise God.
With all of this, I find myself experiencing fear at the prospect of being fully obedient to God in this next stage or steps of my life. Fear of any further upheaval to my family. Yet I know God has our wellbeing in His heart. Jesus, help me to fully and completely Trust You. Jesus, I trust you. Jesus, I trust you. Jesus thank you for your Love of each and every one of us. Bless Bruce, Rosemary and all their family/team, bless all who are reached by this team. In Jesus Holy name, Amen.
John, It’s in the midst of uncertainty and fear that God does His greatest work in our hearts, teaching us to trust Him more deeply and depend on His strength. I’m praying for you as you continue to trust and walk in His plan for you. Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Thank you Bruce, for the mission. I signed up hoping I would find the time to listen to all four. God works in mysterious ways. I got Covid and so have had plenty of time to hear. Thank you, Lord. Carol
I am a lapsed ‘cradle’ Catholic but am finding through listening to you, I am trying to listen for God more. Session 3 has really been significant for me.
Looking back as you suggested, very recently my son in law lost his battle with cancer, after 18mths of treatment/uncertainty/hope only to be knocked down most times.
I did pray for strength for all and will continue to do so, and now have a trust that it was God who gave us that strength and will be there moving forward.
I am going to focus on my anxiety and say the little prayer each time.

I have been following you religiously since Lent of 2018, through your ministry I continue to walk a deeper path, a more grounded faith with God and know that my faith has grown and matured through the years, and daily.
You were the person i longed to hear when my father passed away in Nov 2019 and God strengthened me in that storm of life.
2 Corinthians 12v9 plays over in my mind.
I am a better person today, a stronger person and to God be the glory as i continue to walk in His path for my life, daily.
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to tell my story. There have been several occasions when I didn’t know what I was doing to do but I had to turn FAITH into TRUST. In doing so I was shown the path that I had to take. At the moment I’m in another of those situations due to a medical condition. Thank you, again, for giving me the encouragement to keep knowing that God is always there.
Thank you soooo much Bruce for todays powerful mission day.. Faith and Trust are so important with our relationship with our God. I have been tested many times over the last 13 years to continue to trust in God and have Faith in his plans for me. I had breast cancer 13 years ago and then I had tyroid cancer 11 years ago. Back surgery 7 years ago. I lost my mom 14 years ago and my Dad 9 years ago. Through it all I thanked God everyday for my recoveries and beating cancer. I thank God that all my brother and sisters and I was there with my parents in the hospital when they passed.. Not all families were blessed to have that happen. And NOw God is asking me to have FAITH AND TRUST IN HIM again.. I had several health issues and tests including ultrasounds, ct scan and MRI. I have found out that I have Cancer in my back.. Now the waiting begings, which is the hardest. Waiting for the oncologist to call me with my appointment.. To preform the biopsy and give me the results on the type of cancer and treatment. Even though my family Doctor delayed the request to the oncologist by three, days, I remember do not treat Evil with EVil. I continue to try my best to be the daughter God wants me to be for him.. I was ticked off but trusting in God that he has a reason for this delay.. Oncologist say it will be at least two weeks or more before I can get an appointment. So that means all my plans for Easter with my children will be delayed util I get the call. So I am happy that I clicked on Session Three today as it was all about continuing my Faith and Trust in God. Trust him that he knows what he is planning for me. I know I can deal with chemo if I have to and more radiation.. I just need more help to Trust god that the end result will be that I have beaten Cancer once again. My motto is the THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM. Rather than THREE STRIKES YOU ARE OUT. I do believe in Positive thoughts and I will continue to do my extra prayers during Lent Season.. This is a powerful season and I will continue to Trust God in his plan for me during this Season. Thank you Bruce for this powerful session to help me to realize why I need to have FAITH AND TRUST IN OUR GOD.. Have a great day everyone.
