Thank you SO MUCH. That was Refreshing; Informative and Challenging! I am an almost 89 year old Sister of Mercy. I will be watching and listening to that again, and again and probably again. You have gently reminded me of so much – too much to take in in one viewing. That is not a problem as I have all the time I need – I just need to give that gift (of time) to my relationship with God. I have been thanking God frequently that having taken a copy of a Parish Bulletin – a Parish I do not belong to – and actually reading most of it I.e. to the point where you Bruce were advertised! Your message is truly wonderful as always and I feel the truth of it.
At this time I think also of those that I know who have turned away from God because someone they have loved deeply has died either unexpectedly at a young age, or through a long slow death with pain, and they have blamed God. I pray for them constantly and know that these lenten messages of yours would help them, but they are obstinate and refuse to even consider it.
